Archie was my father in law Bert’s biology proffesor at University of Florida. They spent many summers together collecting animals in Mexico.

One of the best “yard hacks” I’ve seen. Flood your driveway and freeze it.

My kids are going to love seeing their buddies on the web, but I’ll have to field the “why didn’t we do this?” questions off to mom.

Toboggans off to the Oswalds!

The Rocky Fork Tract area has been recently protected and opened up for exploration. You can see much of it as your drive on Highway I-26 between WNC and TN.

David Ramsey Green Hero | Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine.

This short video from BRO gives good details on the recently protected Rocky Fork Tract that borders WNC/TN: Local conservation groups are still trying to raise money to save it for good, so we have a great opportunity to help it happen.

I visited the area a few months ago and it’s beautiful. Tons of wildlife, vistas, and FUTURE TRAILS for our use!

Stay tuned for more details on the Rocky Fork.
